Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Department

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team. This position involves working 12-hour night shifts, from 18:30 to 07:00, with a weekend rotation and participation in holiday coverage on an every-other-holiday basis.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult and pediatric patients in the Emergency Department.
• Assess patient conditions and formulate care plans based on clinical needs.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Monitor and respond to changes in patient status during shifts.
• Educate patients and families about health conditions and post-discharge care.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid WI RN or Compact RN license.
• Minimum of two (2) years of Emergency Department experience with adult and pediatric populations within the last three (3) years.
• Current certifications in BLS, PALS, and ACLS from the American Heart Association (AHA).
• Traveler candidates will be required to pass a Telemetry test prior to starting the assignment.

Additional Information

This assignment may offer flexibility, with options for 4×12 shifts available. We are open to assignments lasting up to 26 weeks for interested travelers.
