Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the operating room environment and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.

Schedule

• Full-time position, 40 hours per week.
• Work schedule: 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM, four days per week.
• On-call requirements: 2 times per month and weekend call every 6th weekend.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures.
• Assist in the preparation and maintenance of the operating room.
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure a safe and efficient environment.
• Monitor patients’ vital signs and overall condition during surgery.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.

Qualifications

• Current Massachusetts RN License.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in the operating room.
• Proven ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Travel Experience

Travel experience is preferred for this position.
