Cardiac Sonographer

We are seeking an experienced Cardiac Sonographer to join our team. The successful candidate will be proficient in operating diagnostic ultrasound equipment and conducting a range of cardiac scans.

Responsibilities

• Perform echocardiograms including TEE, TTE, and Stress Echo.
• Utilize M-Mode, 2-D, color Doppler, and exercise testing techniques.
• Conduct bubble studies using Lumason as the imaging agent.
• Work in compliance with established organizational and departmental guidelines.
• Report directly to the Supervisor of Cardiac Sonographers.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree in radiology or equivalent certification required.
• Licensure as a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or equivalent certification required.
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required.
• A minimum of five years of experience as an Ultrasound Technician is required.
• Familiarity with Epic software is a plus.
• Ability to start IVs is an additional advantage.

Preferred Qualifications

• One to three years of experience as a Cardiac Sonographer preferred.
• Current ACLS certification.
