Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN)

Shift Information

6 shifts of 12 hours each, totaling 72 hours over a two-week period, with every third weekend off.

Minimum Years of Experience

2 years of experience in an Emergency Department is required.

Certifications/Requirements

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• State of Hawaii Nursing License (must be active upon start date)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in a small critical access hospital. The RN will be responsible for providing care across various patient settings, including the Emergency Department (ED), acute care, and long-term care (LTC) facilities, as we do not have separate units.

In the role, the RN will:

• Work primarily in the Emergency Room, providing patient care and support.
• Provide backup assistance in the acute care and LTC areas when assigned to the ED without patients.
• Administer medications and perform procedures for patients in LTC and acute settings when needed.
• Engage in holiday coverage as required.

Please note that this is not a latex-free facility, and hours are not guaranteed. Candidates must have at least two years of experience in an Emergency Department to qualify for this position.
