Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our long-term care team. This position involves providing high-quality care to residents in a nursing home setting, following essential protocols and procedures.

Shift Details

• Schedule: Day shifts with 8-hour rotations from 06:30 AM to 03:00 PM.
• Every other weekend rotation and some holiday shifts required.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• Utilize Bed Side Shift Reporting (BSSR) for effective communication during hand-offs.
• Implement AIDET (Acknowledge, Introduce, Duration, Explanation, Thank You) to enhance patient interactions.
• Conduct hourly rounding to ensure resident satisfaction and safety.
• Supervise and direct the activities of nursing staff, including CNA and Med Techs.

Qualifications

• Current RN license required.
• BLS certification from AHA is required.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in long-term care is required.

Staffing Details

• 1 RN per hall, with 1 Med Tech assigned per hall.
• CNA staffing ratio of 1:8-10 on day shifts, and 1:20 on night shifts.
