Physical Therapist Assistant

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to provide essential therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. The PTA will play a vital role in assisting patients to restore mobility, improve function, and achieve their treatment goals while adhering to state and federal regulations and facility guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Deliver therapy interventions as outlined in the Physical Therapist’s plan of care.
• Document patient progress and responses to treatment.
• Assist with patient education and the development of home exercise programs.
• Communicate patient status and changes to the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Adhere to safety practices, infection control measures, and compliance standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Active state PTA license or the ability to obtain one.
• Ability to follow treatment plans and work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams.
