Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team, providing high-quality care in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in telemetry oncology, cardiac, and progressive care unit (PCU), as well as experience in stepdown units.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in compliance with established standards and policies.
• Monitor patient telemetry, vital signs, and overall medical status.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
• Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Support thoracic surgery unit needs as required.

Schedule

• Day/Evening shifts available, 12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM.
• Monday through Friday, with every other weekend and some holiday shifts required.
• Willingness to work on December 24th and December 25th as requested.
• Potential for block scheduling (Friday-Sunday) or 4×12 hour shifts.

Qualifications

• Current Wisconsin RN or compact RN license required.
• BLS and ACLS certification from the American Heart Association is mandatory.
• Telemetry experience is required, and a telemetry test must be passed prior to starting.
• Previous experience with ventilator care and transplant patients is preferred.
