Registered Nurse (RN)

Position Overview

We are seeking experienced Registered Nurses for our Complex Medical Unit – Acute Care. This role involves providing care in a high-acuity environment where patient needs are dynamic and may vary throughout different shifts.

Start Dates

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in an acute care setting.
• Maintain patient safety and comfort while adhering to best practices.
• Utilize Cerner EMR for patient documentation and management.

Ratios

Staffing ratios typically vary according to need, with a common ratio of 1:6.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a comparable acuity hospital.
• Active and unencumbered RN license in Tennessee (or multi-state).
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Experience with Cerner EMR is essential.

Work Schedule

This position requires night shifts, working three 12-hour shifts (19:00 – 07:00). Weekend shifts are required every other week, and block schedules may be accommodated based on patient needs.

Time Off Policies

Time off restrictions apply, particularly during holiday weeks, and individual date requests may be negotiable based on staffing needs.

Testing Requirements

Candidates must pass a basic dysrhythmia interpretation test and a medication test during orientation.
