Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to provide physical therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist (PT). The PTA will work to assist patients in restoring mobility, improving function, and achieving their treatment goals in accordance with state and federal regulations, as well as facility guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Deliver therapy interventions according to the PT plan of care.
• Document patient progress and response to treatment accurately.
• Assist with patient education and home exercise programs.
• Communicate patient status and progress to the supervising PT.
• Adhere to safety, infection control, and compliance standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Active state PTA license (or eligibility to obtain).
• Ability to follow treatment plans and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
