Registered Nurse – Operating Room

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Operating Room team. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to function effectively in a fast-paced environment while providing quality care to surgical patients. This role includes responsibilities in both scrubbing and circulating for various surgical procedures.

Shift Details

• Schedule: Day 4×10-Hour (06:45 – 19:15)
• Weekends: Required, usually on Saturday – Work every other weekend
• No Call requirements

Responsibilities

• Assist in scrubbing and circulating for surgeries in various specialties including Trauma, Cardiothoracic, Neurosurgery, Orthopedics, Cataracts, and ENT.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure a safe and efficient operating environment.
• Monitor patient vital signs and provide support during procedures.
• Maintain a sterile field and adhere to infection control protocols.
• Document surgical procedures and communicate effectively with team members.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license in West Virginia or Compact states.
• BLS certification required.
• Experience in diverse surgical specialties preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
