Job Overview

An exciting opportunity for a Registered Nurse is available on the Acute Care Unit, specializing in Medical Surgical care. We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our dynamic healthcare team, providing high-quality patient care on the night shift.

Position Details

• Shift Type: Nights (7 PM – 7 AM)
• Shift Length: 12 hours
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Average Patient Ratios: 1:5 to 1:6
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Holiday Requirement: As needed

Unit Information

• Total Beds: 44
• Staffing: Approximately 40 staff members including Nurse Aides
• Nurse Aide Ratios: 1:8, generally 1:10
• Electronic Medical Records: Meditech experience preferred (not required)
• General Orientation: 1 week, including EMR training
• Floor-Specific Orientation: 2 days

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 1 year, including at least 1 travel assignment
• Required Certifications:
  • BLS (AHA certified)
  • NIHSS certification

Additional Information

• Floating: Required to all acute care and cardio units for medical care
• Scrub Color: Caribbean Blue
