Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Medical-Surgical nursing to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care through various nursing duties, including:

• Preparing, administering, and documenting prescribed medications.
• Changing dressings, inserting catheters, and starting intravenous (IV) lines.
• Adjusting specialized medical equipment as necessary and interpreting and recording measurements.
• Monitoring patients’ vital signs and promptly reporting any adverse reactions to medications.

Shift and Requirements

• 12-hour night shifts with a 36-hour guarantee each week.
• Weekend requirements include a minimum of six weekend shifts within a six-week schedule period.
• No on-call requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of experience in Medical-Surgical nursing is required.
• Recent travel nursing experience is preferred.
• Current licensure and certifications: Oklahoma State License or Compact License, BLS (American Heart Association), and NIH Stroke Scale certification.
• Completion of a skills checklist related to the specialty, current within the last year.
• Two supervisory reference forms, completed within the last two years.
