Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA)

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist physical therapists in providing exceptional care to patients through therapeutic interventions and wellness services.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist physical therapists in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans.
• Conduct therapeutic exercises and assist patients with mobility and functional activities.
• Monitor patient progress and document treatment sessions accurately.
• Educate patients and their families on treatment procedures and self-care strategies.
• Maintain a clean and safe treatment environment.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to treatment discussions.

Qualifications

• Current certification and licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant in the applicable state.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
• Ability to demonstrate compassion and empathy for patients.
• Basic computer skills for documentation and record-keeping.
• Previous experience in a healthcare or rehabilitation setting is preferred.
