Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Room

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Room team. The ideal candidate must possess the required certifications and experience to provide optimal patient care in a fast-paced environment. Our unit prioritizes high standards of patient safety and effective teamwork.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for adult patients including those with STEMI, stroke, and Level 2 trauma.
• Ensure triage and telemetry monitoring is performed accurately.
• Administer conscious sedation as needed.
• Maintain a patient-to-nurse ratio of 3:1, or 2:1 for critical patients, and 5:1 for medical boarders.
• Participate in patient assessments, care planning, and emergency interventions.

Required Skills and Certifications

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience.
• IV start proficiency.
• Certifications: TNCC, ACLS, NIH, MOAB, and BLS.
• First-time travelers are accepted.
• Local applicants are welcome.

Preferred Qualifications

• Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) certification.
• Experience in trauma care is preferred.

Shift Information

• Shift Schedule: Night shifts, 4×12 hours from 18:45 to 07:15.
• Every other weekend is required.
• No on-call or float requirements.

Orientation and Scrubs

• Orientation will be conducted for 36 or 48 hours.
• Scrubs color: Navy Blue.
