Emergency Department Registered Nurse (ED RN)

Night Shift: 7 PM – 7 AM

Job Summary

An experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse (ED RN) is needed for a challenging and rewarding role. This position requires delivering high-quality care in a fast-paced environment, ensuring patient safety and satisfaction at all times.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department.
• Assess patients and their needs accurately and promptly.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
• Document patient information and care provided accurately in electronic health records.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients and staff.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of recent Emergency Room experience required.
• Must have recent acute care hospital experience within the past 5 years.
• Oregon Registered Nurse (RN) State License is required.
• General Certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS (or equivalent), with specific timeliness for obtaining credentials as outlined.
• Nursing Certification: TNCC, or obtain within 1 year of hire.
• CEN or equivalent certification preferred.
• Completion of organization-approved workplace violence training is required by the last day of the month following the first 90 days of employment.

Additional Information
