Occupational Therapy Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapy Assistant to provide high-quality therapeutic services under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist. This position is essential in helping patients develop and restore functional independence in accordance with state and federal regulations, as well as facility guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Implement therapy interventions as specified in the Occupational Therapist’s plan of care.
• Document patient progress accurately and in a timely manner.
• Provide assistance in patient and family education regarding therapeutic processes and goals.
• Communicate patient status updates effectively to the supervising Occupational Therapist.
• Adhere to all safety, infection control, and compliance protocols.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Active state COTA license or the ability to obtain one.
• Strong teamwork and patient care skills.
