CT Technologist

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and certified CT Technologist to join our team. The successful candidate will assist in providing high-quality imaging services to a diverse patient population in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

Responsibilities

• Perform computed tomography (CT) scans according to established protocols.
• Ensure all images are high quality and meet the prescribed standards.
• Maintain patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures.
• Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to provide excellent patient care.
• Adhere to facility policies and procedures for patient handling and imaging.
• Document all procedures and patient interactions according to regulatory guidelines.

Schedule Details

This position offers 8-hour shifts from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with a commitment to work 2-3 weekends per month. Weekday shifts will be primarily based at the outpatient facility, while weekends will be at the main hospital.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist.
• MUST possess a valid CT certification.
• Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• Experience in an inpatient, ER, and Level 1 trauma center preferred.
• Familiarity with electronic health records systems; experience with Epic is preferred.

The CT Technologist will work with a broad range of patients, including:

• Geriatrics
• Neonates
• Pediatrics
• Infants
• Adolescents

Department Information

This position is within a Magnet-designated, teaching hospital recognized as a Level 1 Trauma Center and Stroke Center, providing exceptional care and training opportunities within a supportive clinical environment.
