Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)

We are seeking a dedicated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to provide exceptional occupational therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT). The successful candidate will adhere to state and federal regulations as well as facility guidelines to assist patients in developing and restoring functional independence.

Responsibilities

• Implement therapy interventions as outlined in the OT plan of care.
• Document patient progress accurately and in a timely manner.
• Assist in patient and family education to enhance understanding and compliance.
• Communicate patient status and progress effectively to the supervising OT.
• Follow all safety, infection control, and compliance protocols to ensure a safe treatment environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Possess an active state COTA license or the ability to obtain one.
• Exhibit strong teamwork skills and a commitment to patient care.
