Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team. This position involves providing physical therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, complying with state and federal regulations as well as facility guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Implement therapy interventions according to the Physical Therapist’s plan of care.
• Document patient progress and monitor responses to treatment.
• Assist in educating patients and their families on treatment plans and home exercise programs.
• Communicate patient status and updates to the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Adhere to safety protocols, infection control measures, and compliance standards.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Current active state PTA license or eligibility to obtain one.
• Ability to follow treatment plans and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
