Physical Therapist Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to provide quality rehabilitation services under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. This role involves engaging with patients to enhance their mobility, restore function, and help them achieve their personal treatment goals while adhering to state and federal regulations as well as facility guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Implement therapy interventions according to the Physical Therapist’s plan of care.
• Document patient progress and responses to treatment accurately.
• Assist in educating patients and their families about home exercise programs and overall treatment plans.
• Communicate patient status and progress with the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Ensure compliance with safety, infection control, and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Active state PTA license or eligibility to obtain one.
• Demonstrated ability to follow treatment plans and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams effectively.
