Physical Therapist Assistant

Job Description

The Physical Therapist Assistant will provide therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist (PT) to assist patients in restoring mobility, improving function, and achieving their treatment goals. The role requires adherence to state and federal regulations, as well as compliance with facility guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Deliver therapy interventions according to the PT plan of care.
• Document patient progress and responses to treatment effectively.
• Assist with patient education and home exercise programs to facilitate recovery.
• Communicate patient status and updates to the supervising PT.
• Adhere to safety, infection control, and compliance standards at all times.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Active state PTA license or eligibility to obtain one.
• Ability to follow treatment plans and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
