Occupational Therapist (OT) – Home Health

We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) for a Home Health position. This role involves providing therapy services primarily to adult and geriatric patients in their homes. The therapist may be required to float within their scope of practice to meet the needs of the facility.

Position Details:

• Shift: 5×8 hours (Day shift from 08:00 to 16:30)
• Patient Load: 8-12 patients assigned
• Weekend Requirements: None
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
• Floating Requirements: Yes, within the scope to meet facility needs

Qualifications:

• Certifications Required: MOAB, NBCOT
• State License: New Mexico license required
• BLS Certification: Yes
• MOAB Certification: Required upon hire; includes a 4-hour de-escalation course for those without certification
• Experience: First-timers are accepted

Additional Requirements:

• Travelers must undergo a second set of fingerprints upon arrival when working in homes with children.
• COVID-19 vaccination is optional, but vaccination numbers will be reported.
• No local candidates within 100 miles will be accepted.
• All new contracts and extensions must be of at least 10 weeks duration.
• A 6-month break is required for any travelers who have completed 4 consecutive assignments or reached their one-year mark, whichever comes first.

Productivity Standards for PT:

27 points for a 40-hour workweek, with each visit weighted differently.

Compensation:

Mileage reimbursement available at the federal IRS standard mileage rate. A 35-mile service radius applies.
