Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Room team. Candidates should be prepared to float to Med/Surg and Stepdown as needed. This role consists of 60% emergency department responsibilities and 40% critical access charge, providing backup to both Med/Surg and the emergency department.

Shift Information

• 3×12 hour Nights: 7 PM – 7 AM, totaling 36 hours/week OR
• 4×12 hour shifts totaling 48 hours/week

Weekend Requirements

Every Other Weekend (EOW)

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in the Emergency Room.
• Assist in the management of Med/Surg and Stepdown patients as necessary.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to enhance patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of current experience in the Emergency Room.
• Experience in a Critical Access Hospital is highly preferred.
• Charge experience is highly preferred, showcasing previous leadership capabilities.
• Ability to handle Stepdown and Med/Surg patient responsibilities.
• Must be willing to assist with various patient care tasks throughout the facility.

Certification Requirements

• TNCC – Trauma Nursing Core Course
• NRP – Neonatal Resuscitation Program
• BLS (AHA) – Basic Life Support
• ACLS (AHA) – Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support
• PALS (AHA) – Pediatric Advanced Life Support
