Multimodality Technologist

The Multimodality Technologist is responsible for providing quality imaging and patient care across X-ray and CT modalities. This role involves effective communication with patients, ensuring they are informed and competent regarding the procedures being performed. The technologist will produce diagnostic images as requested by licensed practitioners.

Shift Details

• Shift Type: 3×12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality imaging for both X-ray and CT procedures.
• Explain imaging procedures to patients to ensure understanding and compliance.
• Produce accurate images for interpretation by licensed practitioners.

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years in related fields.
• Certifications:
  • Registered in both Radiography (ARRT) (R) and Computed Tomography (ARRT) (C)
  • SCRQSA certification
  • BLS and ACLS certifications (pending certifications may be accepted if obtained within 2-3 weeks of hire)
• Preferred Experience: Emergency, Trauma, Pediatrics, and Orthopedic exams in both modalities, experience with Siemens equipment, EPIC, and PACS.

Additional Information

• All radiation badges must be provided by the agency.
• Radius Rule: Candidates must reside within a 60-mile radius.
• Local candidates accepted on a case-by-case basis.
• All requests for time off (RTO) must be made at the time of submission and will be subject to approval based on unit needs.
• Guaranteed hours: The facility may call off one shift per two weeks.

Work Environment

This position is within a Magnet-designated, teaching facility that serves as a Level 1 Trauma center, providing an opportunity for advanced clinical practice and professional growth.
