Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) / Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)

We are seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse / Licensed Vocational Nurse to join our treatment team. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with healthcare providers to dispense prescribed medications and maintain a high standard of patient care.

Shift Details

• Monday to Friday: 5:30 AM – 1:30 PM
• Saturday: 5:30 AM – 10:30 AM
• 40 Hour Guarantee

Weekend Requirements

• Saturday: 5:30 AM – 10:30 AM

Job Responsibilities

• Administer daily medication to patients in accordance with program policy and medical protocols.
• Utilize automated dispensing systems, calibrate pumps, and maintain dispensing equipment.
• Produce and maintain necessary records and reports following company protocol as well as federal and state regulations.
• Ensure compliance with security standards for the distribution and storage of controlled substances.
• Order, receive, and stock medication in accordance with DEA and state regulations, if granted Power of Attorney.
• Conduct daily assessments of patients.
• Assist Nursing Supervisors in orienting new nursing staff.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by a supervisor.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in medication administration.
• Experience in an opioid addiction center is highly preferred.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
• Completion of a skills checklist is required.
• Two supervisory reference forms are required.
