Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Medical Surgical Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in the Medical Surgical specialty and possess a strong background in travel nursing.

Job Description:

The Medical Surgical Registered Nurse will be responsible for:

• Caring for adult patients with common diagnoses, including post-surgical care, abdominal pain, cholelithiasis, osteoarthritis, fractures, back pain, and morbid obesity.
• Utilizing specialty equipment such as IV pumps, N/G tubes, and feeding tubes.
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure the best patient outcomes.
• Floating to different units as required to meet staffing needs.

Shift Information:

Shift hours will be from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM. Block scheduling is not promised or guaranteed.

Requirements:

• Active Registered Nurse license in New York and all active RN licenses.
• Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Completion of a skills checklist matching the specialty.
• Up-to-date resume documenting relevant experience and travel history.
• Drivers license with address matching demographic information.
• NURSYS report for license verification.
• Must be willing to float to different units as needed.
