Nursing Infusion

Position Overview

The Nursing Infusion position requires skilled and compassionate professionals to provide high-quality infusion care within an ambulatory setting. This role is critical in delivering therapeutic interventions and medication administration to patients receiving oncology and medical infusion services.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer infusion therapies and manage patient care in accordance with established protocols.
• Monitor patients for adverse reactions and provide appropriate interventions as needed.
• Utilize the EPIC electronic health record system for documentation and communication.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, potential side effects, and care procedures.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Infusion experience is required.
• Ambulatory EPIC experience is preferred.
• Must be available for a schedule of four ten-hour shifts.
• Willingness to work one weekend per month to maintain consistency with current staffing.
• Valid nursing license and any required certifications.

Work Schedule

This position offers a 4×10 hour work schedule, providing a balance between work and personal time. The candidate will also be expected to work one weekend per month to align with existing personnel schedules.
