Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist Assistant to provide therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. The successful candidate will assist patients in restoring mobility, improving function, and achieving their treatment goals in accordance with state and federal regulations and facility guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Deliver therapy interventions as outlined in the Physical Therapist’s plan of care.
• Document patient progress and responses to treatment accurately.
• Assist in patient education and the development of home exercise programs.
• Communicate patient status and updates to the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Adhere to safety and infection control standards to ensure a safe therapy environment.
• Maintain compliance with facility guidelines and relevant regulations.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Active state Physical Therapist Assistant license (or the ability to obtain one).
• Capability to follow treatment plans and collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams.
