Physical Therapist Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and qualified Physical Therapist Assistant to provide therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. The ideal candidate will assist patients in restoring mobility, improving function, and achieving their treatment goals in compliance with state and federal regulations and facility guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Deliver therapy interventions as outlined in the Physical Therapist’s plan of care.
• Document patient progress and responses to treatment accurately and timely.
• Assist with patient education and the development of home exercise programs.
• Communicate patient status and progress to the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Adhere to safety and infection control protocols as well as compliance standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Active state Physical Therapist Assistant license (or eligibility to obtain one).
• Proficient in following treatment plans and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.
