Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse with expertise in Telemetry to join our medical-surgical unit. This role focuses on providing high-quality nursing care to patients in a telemetry setting, with an emphasis on patient monitoring and assessment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients in accordance with established protocols and guidelines.
• Monitor patients’ vital signs and telemetry readings to ensure optimal health outcomes.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
• Educate patients and their families about health management and discharge planning.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records, documenting all nursing activities and care interventions.
• Participate in unit meetings and contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Experience in Telemetry nursing preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment skills and the ability to make critical decisions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Schedule

This position requires availability for night shifts and day shifts, working three 12-hour shifts per week. Flexibility in scheduling is essential to meet unit needs.
