Occupational Therapy Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapy Assistant to provide high-quality therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist. The ideal candidate will assist patients in developing and restoring functional independence while adhering to state and federal regulations as well as facility guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Implement therapy interventions according to the Occupational Therapist’s plan of care.
• Document patient progress in an accurate and timely manner.
• Assist with patient and family education regarding therapy goals and techniques.
• Communicate patient status effectively to the supervising Occupational Therapist.
• Follow all safety, infection control, and compliance protocols to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Active state COTA license or ability to obtain one.
• Strong teamwork and patient care skills.
