Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) to work in our Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit or Acute Care Unit. The ideal candidate will provide therapeutic services to patients, supporting their recovery and rehabilitation goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the evaluation and implementation of individualized treatment plans for patients.
• Work collaboratively with therapists and other healthcare professionals.
• Provide direct patient care, including therapeutic activities and exercises.
• Document patient progress and communicate effectively with the healthcare team.
• Participate in co-treatment sessions with Physical Therapy Assistants (PTA) as needed.

Work Schedule

Shifts are available during the day, with flexible start times based on unit needs. Weekend shifts are required in rotation, approximately three times per quarter.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid Oklahoma License for Occupational Therapy Assistants.
• Current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) by the American Heart Association.
• Work history and skills checklist relevant to the specialty are required.
• Recent traveler experience is preferred.
• New graduates are encouraged to apply.
