Registered Nurse (RN) – Endoscopy

Position Overview

The Registered Nurse (RN) will be responsible for performing basic admissions of outpatient visits within an Endoscopy unit. The role requires flexibility to float to other outpatient clinics as needed, all located within the same building, and involves working with both public and prison populations.

Shift Information

This is a full-time position with a schedule from Monday to Friday, 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM. Call duties are required once a month.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct basic admissions for outpatient visits.
• Provide nursing care and support to patients in the Endoscopy unit.
• Coordinate with other healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care.
• Float to other outpatient clinics within the building as necessary.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 1 year of nursing experience is required.
• First-time travelers and local candidates are accepted at the same rate.
• Certifications required:
  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
  • NIH Stroke Scale Certification
  • CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention), MAB (Management of Assaultive Behavior) is accepted in place of CPI.

Candidates must be comfortable working with both the general public and a prison population, ensuring a high standard of care is maintained at all times.
