Multimodality Tech (CT/X-Ray)

We are seeking a skilled Multimodality Technician with expertise in CT and X-Ray imaging to join our team. This position will begin at a facility before transitioning to a Free-Standing Emergency Room and Urgent Care facility.

Position Details

• Shift: 3×12 Days, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM, Sunday-Saturday depending on needs
• Weekend Requirement: Yes
• Float Requirement: No
• On-Call Requirement: No

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including CT and X-Ray, while ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Operate Siemens CT and X-Ray equipment as well as GE portable units.
• Maintain accurate patient records and assist in the management of imaging data through Epic charting.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure the highest standard of care.

Qualifications

• Required Experience: Minimum of 3 years in a related role.
• Certifications:
  • BLS
  • ARRT (R) (CT)
  • SCRQSA (R) (CT)
• Equipment Experience: Proficiency with Siemens CT, X-Ray, and GE Portable imaging equipment is required.
• Radiation Badge: A radiation badge must be provided by the agency; it will not be supplied by the facility.

Miscellaneous Information

• Block Schedule: Approval can be requested prior to assignment, but is not guaranteed.
• Local Candidates: Locals are not accepted for this position; candidates must be from outside a 60-mile radius.
• Guaranteed Hours: The facility may call off one shift every two weeks.
• Hurricane Season Advisory: Travelers should be aware of potential emergency assignments during hurricane season, which runs from June through November.
