Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to provide therapeutic services under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist (PT). This role entails assisting patients in restoring mobility, enhancing function, and achieving their treatment goals while adhering to state and federal regulations as well as facility guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Deliver therapy interventions as outlined in the PT plan of care.
• Document patient progress and response to treatment effectively.
• Assist with patient education, including home exercise programs.
• Communicate patient status and updates to the supervising PT regularly.
• Adhere to safety, infection control, and compliance standards at all times.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Active state PTA license or the ability to obtain one.
• Ability to follow treatment plans and work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams.
