Occupational Therapy Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapy Assistant to provide high-quality therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist. This role involves assisting patients in developing and restoring their functional independence while ensuring compliance with all state and federal regulations as well as facility guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Implement therapy interventions in alignment with the Occupational Therapist’s plan of care.
• Document patient progress accurately and in a timely manner.
• Assist with the education of patients and their families regarding care plans and therapy techniques.
• Communicate the status of patients to the supervising Occupational Therapist regularly.
• Adhere to safety, infection control, and compliance protocols at all times.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Active state COTA license (or the ability to obtain one).
• Strong teamwork and patient care skills.
