Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our orthopedic unit. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of nursing experience, with previous travel nursing experience preferred.

Schedule

• Shifts: 3×12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
• Every other weekend (Saturday and Sunday)
• No on-call requirements

Unit Overview

This 29-bed unit provides comprehensive care for adult to geriatric patients, focusing on orthopedic needs along with medical-surgical care. The unit is equipped with telemetry monitoring and features a physical therapy gym, allowing patients to undergo therapy without leaving the unit.

Patient Population

• High volume: Total joint replacements, fracture repairs, kyphoplasties
• Moderate volume: Various surgical procedures, inpatient medical patients, and 24-hour observation patients

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the orthopedic unit
• Float between units as required
• Serve as Charge RN as needed

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred
• BLS certification required
• Charge RN experience is a must
