Acute Care Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Summary

This position entails providing quality nursing care within acute care settings. The nurse will be assigned to various units as needed, utilizing their expertise to support patient care effectively.

Shift Details

Shift: 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM (12-hour shift with a 30-minute lunch break)

Patient Care Ratios

Patient-to-nurse ratios may vary according to unit needs, typically around 1:6.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a comparable acuity hospital setting.
• Active, unencumbered RN license in Tennessee or multi-state licensing.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Cerner EMR experience is mandatory.

The nurse will float to the following units as required:

• 12E – Medical Comfort Care
• 11E – Surgery and GI
• 10E – Trauma
• 8E – Medical
• 7S – Observation
• 5E – Medical
• 5W – Oncology
• 4S – Medical Nephrology
• 9E – Orthopedics
• 7E – Joint Replacement/Orthopedics
• 6S & 6E – Neurology
• 9H – Vascular
• 8H – Pulmonary
• 7H – Cardiac Surgery
• 4H – Cardiac

Additional Information

Weekend shifts are required every other weekend. Block scheduling is not accommodated, and there is no on-call requirement. First-time travelers will be considered.

Compliance Details

Required scrubs are Royal Blue.
