Patient Care Technician (PCT)

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Patient Care Technician to join our Float Pool team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to providing high-quality care to patients in a telemetry unit. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, collaborating with healthcare professionals to support patient needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Monitor vital signs and report any changes to nursing staff.
• Provide emotional support to patients and their families.
• Maintain a clean and safe patient environment.
• Assist with the transportation of patients as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
• Certification as a Patient Care Technician/Assistant (CPCT/A) through the National Healthcareer Association (NHA).

Shift Details

This position requires availability for evening shifts, with a length of 8 hours per shift. The role guarantees 37.5 hours of work per week.
