Registered Nurse (RN) – Med/Surg

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) with a strong background in Med/Surg nursing. The ideal candidate will possess at least 3 years of experience and demonstrate proficiency in using EPIC electronic medical records. This role involves caring for a diverse patient population, including those requiring medical, orthopedic, general surgical, GIP, telemetry, and stepdown care.

Unit Information

The unit caters to a wide variety of patients, creating an engaging and dynamic work environment. Nurses are expected to manage a patient load of 5-7 individuals, which may include several total care patients. Candidates should possess the confidence and skills required to provide high-quality care in this fast-paced setting.

Work Schedule

• Rotation 1: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Thursday, Friday
• Rotation 2: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday

On-Call and Weekend Requirements

There are potential weekend and holiday requirements, with a rotation for on-call duties.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 3 years of Med/Surg nursing experience
• Proficiency in EPIC electronic health record system
• Ability to handle a patient load of 5-7 patients, including total care
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Candidates must reside within a 50-mile radius of the work location.
