Telemetry Nurse

The Telemetry Nurse plays a crucial role in providing care to patients with critical or life-threatening conditions. This position involves continuous monitoring and interpretation of cardiac rhythms as well as assessment of the patient’s hemodynamic status.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms to ensure patient safety.
• Administer prescribed cardiac medications and approved drips.
• Recognize signs of shock and other life-threatening complications in patients.
• Assist with emergency and elective cardioversion procedures.
• Facilitate the insertion of temporary pacemakers as needed.
• Interact with patients across various age groups, including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care.

Qualifications:

• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
• Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification.
• State licensure and certification verification required.
