Physical Therapist Assistant

Job Description

We are seeking a committed Physical Therapist Assistant to provide exceptional patient care and support in restoring mobility, improving function, and achieving treatment goals. This role involves delivering therapy interventions in accordance with the plan of care set by the supervising licensed Physical Therapist, while ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations along with facility guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Deliver therapy interventions as outlined in the Physical Therapist’s plan of care.
• Document patient progress and responses to treatment accurately and timely.
• Assist with patient education and the implementation of home exercise programs.
• Communicate patient status and updates to the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Adhere to safety protocols, infection control measures, and compliance standards at all times.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Possess an active state PTA license or have the ability to obtain one.
• Ability to follow treatment plans and work collaboratively within interdisciplinary teams.
