Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse to join our Cardiovascular Telemetry unit, which consists of 54 beds divided into three 18-bed wings. Our team provides care to patients with cardiovascular diagnoses, offering an engaging and fast-paced environment. The role requires working some shifts in the Overflow unit as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to cardiovascular telemetry patients.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor patients’ vital signs and analyze telemetry data.
• Assist in the development and implementation of individual patient care plans.
• Educate patients and their families on health conditions and care plans.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
• National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, with every other weekend commitment.
• Availability to work during holidays as needed.

Schedule

The position is for night shifts, requiring three 12-hour shifts each week, specifically from 19:00 to 07:00. Please note that block scheduling is not available.
