Cath Lab Tech

About the Position

We are seeking a skilled Cath Lab Tech to join our team. This role involves working in a fast-paced environment with a focus on high-quality patient care and advanced cardiovascular procedures.

Shift Details

• Rotating 4×10 hour day shifts (0700-1730 & 0930-2000) with variations based on procedure completion.
• Consistency is maintained by grouping similar shifts together each week.

Caseload

The Cath Lab team operates 4 to 5 labs daily, with a case load averaging 20-25 cases per day. Each tech will collaborate with 2-3 Cardiovascular Technologists per lab.

On-Call Requirements

• On-call duty is required once every 7 weeks (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday).
• One weekly call shift and evening shift are also part of the requirements.
• Holidays are assigned as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of Cath Lab experience required.
• First-timers are welcome to apply.
• National certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and either ARRT or RCIS (registered or in process).
• Must possess a South Carolina license (SCRQSA).
• Radiation badge is required and must be provided by the agency (not supplied by the facility).
• Proficiency in coronary diagnostic/intervention scrub and monitoring is essential.

Miscellaneous Information

• Accommodating block schedules requires manager approval and depends on unit needs.
• Travelers must adhere to a 60-mile local radius rule.
• Local candidates may be accepted on a case-by-case basis.
• All request time off (RTO) must be communicated at the time of submission and will be approved based on facility needs.
• Facility may call off staff for up to one shift every two weeks.
