Cath Lab Tech

About the Position

We are seeking a skilled Cath Lab Tech to join our dynamic team. The Cath Lab Tech will assist in various cardiovascular procedures while ensuring a high standard of patient care and safety.

Shift Information

• Rotating 4×10 hour day shifts (0700-1730 & 0930-2000), with some variability to accommodate case completions.
• Shifts will be grouped together during a weekly rotation for consistency.

Caseload

The daily caseload per technologist will include:

• Operating in 4 to 5 labs per day.
• Performing approximately 20-25 cases daily.

On-Call Requirements

On-call duties are required, including:

• One weekend (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) every 7 weeks.
• Call shift and evening shift each week.
• On-call requirements may change based on staffing needs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab experience.
• Must hold current BLS, ACLS, and either ARRT or RCIS certification (registered or in process).
• South Carolina state license is required (SCRQSA).
• Proficiency in coronary diagnostic and intervention scrub and monitor is essential.

Miscellaneous Information

• Open to accommodating block schedules, subject to management approval.
• Local candidates within a 60-mile radius are accepted on a case-by-case basis.
• All requests for time off must be included at the time of submission.
• The facility reserves the right to call off 1 shift every 2 weeks without guarantee of hours.

Additional Information

During hurricane season (June through November), all employees may be assigned to emergency response teams. Please consider this if planning to confirm an assignment during this period.

• Type of facility: Acute Care Hospital with 304 staffed beds.
• Uniform: Hospital-issued scrubs.
• Charting: EPIC System.
• Parking: Free parking available with a pass distributed at badge pickup; parking garages may have vehicle clearance restrictions.
