Occupational Therapy Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapy Assistant to provide exceptional support services under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist. The ideal candidate will assist patients in developing and restoring functional independence while adhering to state and federal regulations as well as facility guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Implement therapy interventions as outlined in the Occupational Therapist’s plan of care.
• Document patient progress accurately and in a timely manner.
• Assist with educating patients and their families regarding treatment plans and rehabilitation processes.
• Effectively communicate patient status and any changes to the supervising Occupational Therapist.
• Adhere to all safety, infection control, and compliance protocols.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Active state COTA license or eligibility to obtain one.
• Strong teamwork abilities and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
