Infusion Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Infusion Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality care in a dynamic healthcare environment. This role requires proficiency in various treatment techniques and a commitment to patient safety and comfort.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments through IV therapy in accordance with established protocols.
• Monitor patients’ progress, vital signs, and overall health during treatment.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients and families about treatment plans and health maintenance.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and progression using the Cerner documentation system.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of Registered Nurse (RN) experience required.
• Current BLS certification required; ONC certification preferred.
• Experience with CBCT, kV/mV imaging, External Beam Therapy, and IMRT is essential.
• Strong knowledge of radiation safety protocols.
• Experience in both inpatient and outpatient oncology settings is preferred.

Work Schedule

This position requires a commitment of 5 shifts per week, consisting of 8-hour days from 0800 to 1630.

Additional Information

• The typical daily caseload is approximately 70 patients, with a patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:4.
• The role does not require on-call duties or floating to other facilities.
• Must be willing to receive the flu vaccine, with exceptions made for documented allergies.
• Pending state licensure will be accepted; however, candidates must hold a clean license without prior suspensions.
