Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse to join our team for a night shift position. The ideal candidate will have experience in telemetry oncology, cardiac care, and progressive care within an intermediate care unit.

Shift Details

• Schedule: 12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Work Days: Monday through Friday
• Every other weekend and holiday availability required

Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in both the IMC Acute Medical/Progressive Care unit and the IMC Thoracic unit. Specific duties include:

• Monitoring patient conditions and vital signs through telemetry
• Administering medication and treatments as prescribed
• Assisting with ventilation and transplant care
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement care plans
• Educating patients and families regarding health management and post-discharge plans

Qualifications

• Current WI RN license or compact RN license is required
• BLS and ACLS certification from AHA is mandatory
• Experience in telemetry oncology, cardiac care, and IMC/PCU/Stepdown units is essential
• Ventilation and transplant experience is required
• Must successfully pass a telemetry competency test prior to commencement
