Registered Nurse (RN)

Shift Details

This position offers a 12-hour shift schedule: 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, Monday through Friday, with every other weekend and some holidays required.

Unit Information

The role involves working within the following units:

• D6/5 IMC Acute Med/Progressive Care Unit
• B4/3 IMC Thoracic Unit

Job Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a telemetry setting, specifically focusing on oncology, cardiac, and progressive care unit (PCU) environments. Essential duties include:

• Monitoring and managing patients on telemetry.
• Administering medication and treatments as prescribed.
• Working with ventilated patients and those requiring transplant care.
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.

Qualifications

• Valid Wisconsin Registered Nurse (RN) license or compact RN license is required.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA are required.
• Telemetry oncology, cardiac, and progressive care unit (PCU) experience is necessary.
• Experience with ventilated patients and transplant procedures is mandatory.
