Pediatric Cath Lab Radiologic Technologist

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Pediatric Cath Lab Radiologic Technologist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have experience in a Level I Trauma Pediatric Cath Lab and will be involved in various procedures related to pediatric and adult cardiac care.

Responsibilities

• Assist in performing cardiac catheterization procedures including Pediatric/Adult Transplant, R/L Biopsy, Balloon and Stent placements, and Valve Placements.
• May also participate in Interventional Radiology procedures, preferably in pediatric settings.
• Ensure optimal patient care and safety during all procedures.
• Maintain equipment and ensure proper functioning of radiologic devices.
• Collaborate effectively with physicians, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a Pediatric Cath Lab or related field.
• Current certifications in PALS, BLS, and ACLS (American Heart Association accepted).
• Preferred certifications include CCI with RCIS/RCES; ARRT (R) with SCRQSA (R) is also acceptable.
• Radiation badge required, to be provided by the agency.

Work Schedule

This position operates on a day shift, with hours from 07:00 to 15:30. Additionally, candidates should be open to on-call rotations, fulfilling approximately 8-10 call shifts per month, including weekend coverage.

Additional Information

• Guaranteed hours, with the provision that the facility can call off one shift per two weeks.
• Charting will be conducted via EPIC.
• Parking offered at a nominal fee; applicable only during night and weekend shifts.
• All staff and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams as part of disaster preparedness.
